Created by Identités, the Ergo plate is made from Copolyester Tritan, making it virtually unbreakable. It is highly recommended by occupational therapists due to its ideal features for people with hemiplegia and frail elderly people:
✅ high, straight sides that make it easier to eat with one hand,
✅ a sloped bottom that allows liquid and semi-liquid foods to stay on one side of the plate, making them easier to scoop up with a spoon due to the curved rim at the bottom and straight edges,
✅ a shape that allows the plates to be stacked, making them practical for storage,
✅ a material that is more resistant to scratches from knife blades,
✅ a material that guarantees impact resistance, so drops on tiled floors have no effect,
✅ Easy-grip non-slip rims: the textured finish on the rims makes the plates easier to hold.
